Be patient toward all that is unresolved in your heart
And try to love the questions themselves
Like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue
Do not seek for the answers that cannot be given
For you would not be able to live them
And the point is to live everything
Live the questions now
And Perhaps without knowing it
You will live along some day into the answers.

Okay, now I’m gonna go take off my bra!
ROFL! I’m getting concerned! Yesterday you went naked, today your bra!
Perhaps this is an opportunity to create a new Blogisattva Award: Post with Best Achievement in Getting Men to Take Off Their Bras! 😈
“Be patient with all that is unresolved in your heart” Boy do I need to be reminded of this. It’s a subtle form of aggression isn’t it, this impatience with what is presently unknown?
Thanks for this!
Oh, I like that, ZDS! Time to put away my Sledgehammer!
Beautiful Genju as always – this week of “unknowing” and living the questions has been very poignant for me… Thank you…
Thanks, Christine. A deep time of not knowing for all of us. In a conversation with a friend, I was reminded that nothing is asked of us other than diligence in slicing away our delusions. Pretty simple, eh?
Yeah, it does seem “collective” – we’re all in this together. In “slicing away our delusions” it feels kind of like – just show up, shut up and pay attention – not needing “results” or “answers” as you poignantly point out… Simple? I’ll let you know…
