This page is the repository of the 108buddha brush art done over the weekend. June 2, 2010 marked 108 days from the anniversary of this blog and I made a commitment to complete 108 brush drawings of the kanji character for “Buddha.” Most of the drawings can be found in posts since that day with the weekend drawings stored here.

The brush strokes are moving into a more abstract representation of the kanji, taking each line and placing it so that it becomes something else. Windows, doors – creating the Buddha in everything.
